Learn to fly your way
Albert is your Flight Sim Assistant: it lets you learn and fly complex aircraft according to your own preferences and your own skill level. It can monitor you, advise you, or fly for you — following your flight plan through the aircraft’s own autopilot and showing you what it’s doing and why. Take the systems on one at a time as you learn them, or hand a phase over when you become task saturated. Disengage at any time.

What makes it different
Most add-on co-pilots take an instruction and carry it out: you ask for a heading, it sets the heading. Albert shows you the aircraft instead, offering a live display of its systems and its energy state, and then lets you decide how much of the flying you want to do yourself on any route you like.
Descent and approach are where it earns its place. Albert works the speedbrake, the flap schedule and the landing gear in real time through the phases where it’s easiest to get behind the airplane — or tells you what it would do and when, and leaves the levers to you.
It also takes the hassle out of pre-flight. Albert aids you in setting up the flight computer and initializing the aircraft’s systems, handling the data entry if you just want to start flying.

Flies through the real autopilot
Albert works the MCP and the CDU the way you would. Nothing is overridden behind the scenes — LNAV and VNAV stay in charge.
Says why, not just what
Every recommended action carries its reasoning: the limit, the level, the constraint it came from. The autopilot stops being a black box.
Manages the energy
It watches the vertical path and calls high and fast early, and it will use the speedbrake — the part the airplane won’t do for you.
Monitor, Advise, Fly
Three levels of help, changeable mid-flight and per layer. Watch it, take its advice, or hand the leg over — and take it back whenever you like.
Shows you only the controls you want
Reorganize the panels, and simplify or expand them to use exactly the controls and indicators you want.
Displays anywhere
It’s a web page. Put it on the iPad clamped to the yoke, on a second monitor on your Windows PC, or even on a Mac laptop beside the rig.
How Albert works
Albert Server runs on your simulator PC. It reads Microsoft Flight Simulator and aircraft data, sends that data to your browser, and carries actions from the browser back to the simulated aircraft.
It talks to the simulator over SimConnect, the standard connection Microsoft Flight Simulator publishes for outside programs, and it can also read your cockpit displays — which is how Albert knows what the aircraft is annunciating rather than only what its switches are set to.
The assistant itself runs in the browser, on that PC or another computer or tablet on your home network. That is where Albert monitors, advises, and decides what to do. Keep the browser page open whenever Albert is helping with a flight.

A natural place to start. Its automation is advanced enough that the airplane is easy to fly and hard to operate properly — most of the learning is in knowing what the systems are doing and why, and that is the part Albert is for.

The simulator models this one itself rather than an add-on modeling it, so there is less of its systems to read and less Albert can tell you about them.
